Your First Appointment

At your initial complimentary consultation, you will notice immediately that Dr. Turner and our staff take extensive time to review your records, dental history, personal concerns and goals to develop a treatment plan that is best for you. This is an easy, pain-free appointment. There is no need to be nervous or anxious. The entire appointment will take approximately one hour. Here’s what to expect.

First, one of our clinical assistants will take diagnostic records, including photographs and radiographs, of your teeth and jaws. While you wait in a consultation room, a treatment coordinator will spend time getting to know you or your child’s dental history and orthodontic concerns. After conducting a thorough analysis of your records and speaking with your treatment coordinator, Dr. Turner will then join you in the consultation room to do a quick patient oral exam and speak with you to explain his findings. He will then discuss if orthodontic treatment is necessary and what treatment options would give you the best outcome.

Leaving this appointment, you will have a good understanding of your treatment options, cost, insurance coverage, payment plans and next steps to get started.
